Turkey

In Turkey many buildings and structures have been named after him such as the Atatürk International Airport, the Atatürk Bridge, the Atatürk Dam and the Atatürk Stadium. Statues of Atatürk have been constructed in every Turkish city by the Turkish Government and most towns have their own memorial to him. Everywhere you go, his name and face is heard and seen; he is on every Turkish banknote, his portrait is displayed in every public building, school, and classroom and his face is even carved into a cliff!

Even though Atatürk passed away a long time ago, he is still remembered and greatly respected not just in Turkey but all over the world.
